TDF for the past several years as an informal organization came up with the desire to support the educational and developmental effort of orphans, widows and the under privileged. This desire has been heightened by the obvious devastation and challenges faced by indigent parents caused by poverty. This has also caused untold hardship on the children and widows of those who have been fatally affected by the insurgency in the North East of Nigeria, especially in Adamawa State. This has included Abuja Federal Capital Territory FCT, as most of the displaced persons have fled to the FCT. The devastation has resulted in the rapid collapsing standards of education and the general humanitarian and environmental challenges, where the widows and the under privileged find it difficult to afford the cost of living. This NGO has lent some helping hands to this class of the under privileged in addition to the educational assistance for children.
In the field of environmental support, the NGO has found it necessary to assist in upgrading the environment, which has also been drastically affected by the activities of the insurgents.
